Stretches for Lower Back Pain
As I get older I notice more and more often that I am getting pain in areas I never dreamed I'd feel pain in. My most recent struggle has been with lower back pain. A great deal of this pain comes from the way I sit, I have HORRIBLE posture. But additionally, some of this pain comes from not stretching my lower back or abdomen enough. These are really my 3 main reasons for lower back pain, but there are other reasons as well.
Causes for lower back pain:
Not enough stretching
Tight abdomen muscles
Poor posture
Incorrect lifting technique
Injury to your lower back
Infection
Kidney stones
And many more.
There are different ways to relieve the pain, but I try to utilize stretching as much as possible. I like to avoid anti-inflammatory medications in my everyday life and am working toward a 100% holistic lifestyle. Yoga and stretching can be so beneficial and is a great way to not only relieve lower back pain, but also to maintain an active lifestyle.
