A Treat-Yourself Memorial Day Staycation

One of my favorite things is treating myself to a weekend Staycation.

Why a staycation? It's far less expensive than a weekend vacation and can give you a great recharge. You spend less on accommodations and can save in the time and stress of travel. One of our best weekend vacation destinations nearby is Las Vegas and though it's a blast, we end up spending nearly 10 hours of our vacation in the car.

What if I really want a weekend away from home? Then take a vacation! But if you can, try a staycation. You can make it feel special by doing things you normally wouldn't and planning small excursions to places near home that you haven't had a chance to check out!

This Memorial Day weekend I have the place all to myself! Ian is going out of town for a few days so it'll be me and the kitties. I've decided to treat myself to a self-care filled staycation weekend!
