My Favorite Christmas Treats: Chocolate Covered Pretzels

My absolute FAVORITE thing to make for friends and family during the holidays are Chocolate Covered Pretzels. These are a serious crowd pleaser and require very few ingredients.

I started making them with my mom when I was a kid and have continued the tradition over the years. To this day, I make them every December and throughout the year for other Holidays, I just switch out the sprinkle colors to match the holiday.

What You'll Need:

30-40 Pretzel Rods

1 Brick of Almond Bark

Sprinkles of Your Choice

Parchment Paper

A Glass Cup

Instructions:

  1. Set out all of your items and the parchment paper. Once the chocolate is melted you will want to work fast so it's better to get set-up first.

  2. Melt your chocolate by separating out pieces and microwaving it in a glass container for 30 seconds. Stir then continue 30 seconds in followed by stirring until it is melted. The chocolate can burn quickly so make sure to keep an eye on it.

  3. Once the chocolate is melted, dip the rods in it and place them on your parchment paper. I do 5 rods then add sprinkles and continue the same process until they're all done.

  4. Let them sit for 20-30 minutes to let the almond bark (chocolate) harden).

  5. Enjoy!

BONUS: Keep them in the fridge and they'll last much longer!
