7 Self-Care Ideas for Spring

Who says your self-care routine has to be exactly the same every day? Unless it's working for you as is, it can be fun to mix up your self-care routine. Here are 7 Self-Care ideas for Spring...


  1. Take a Nature Walk. The world around you is waking up again and that is a beautiful thing! Take some time out in nature to walk, breathe in the fresh air, listen for birds, smell the flowers starting to bloom and feel the wind on your skin. It can be very grounding.


  2. Plant some Flowers. We love finding new annuals every year to plant in our front yard. It is a great reminder that the world is coming alive again and that you can create beauty, too.


  3. Take a Lavender Scented Bubble Bath. Baths have some amazing benefits, such as: loosening tense muscles, promoting relaxation, increasing blood flow and reducing blood pressure. Lavender is a great spring scent that can also induce feelings of calm and promote relaxation.


  4. Spring Clean your Closet. Decluttering is a perfect way to welcome in spring. Out with the old and in with the new... Just maybe avoid bringing in too much new and enjoy some of the extra space for a little while.


  5. Watch the Sunrise. Along the theme of renewal, the sunrise represents a new day and the awakening of morning. Waking up to watch the sunrise will give you a great opportunity to be more productive throughout the day and the act of watching the sunrise can be relaxing and calming in itself.


  6. Visit a Farmer's Market. This is a great way and opportunity to refocus on what fresh foods make you feel good and healthy. Take time to talk to the vendors about their fresh foods and the stories behind them. You may even find a new food that you love and have never tried before!


  7. Journal about What You Want to Start (or Create). Spring is all about rebirth and renewal. Take some time to journal about what you want to start doing or something you want to create. Focus on what that looks like and how it will make you feel.
