A Month of Self-Care: May Challenge

The past few weeks have been hectic and quite the time-suck. Unfortunately I have slacked a bit on my self-care routine and I am feeling it with some heightened anxiety levels as of late. Self-care plays a vital role in managing stress and anxiety because it helps one to fill up their own cup. So that brings me to my May challenge.... one month of self-care!

Every day during the month of May I am committing to self-care. In addition, I will be keeping track of what I do every day and sharing it right here on my blog.

Here are the rules:

  1. Minimum 20 minutes of self-care each day.

  2. Workouts don't count.

  3. No cell phone allowed during self-care time.

That's it!

Some examples of what I'll be doing:

  • Epsom salt baths

  • Face masks (my personal fave!)

  • Journaling

  • Reading in the sun

  • Yoga

Anyone and everyone is welcome to join me during my month of self-care challenge! Keep in mind these rules are for me and you can make your own rules that work for you. Personally, I already workout 5 days a week and am looking to add to my self-care routine, but for some people a workout might be exactly the self-care they need!

Shoot me a message via my 'About Me' page if you have any questions.
