Plank Challenge Restart

I said I'd restart the challenge and let you know when, well.... WHEN has arrived. Today marks the official restart of my plank challenge. Am I excited? Not really. Am I going to enjoy it as best I can anyways? You know it!

What is it? Everyday I am challenging myself to a 1 minute plank hold. Sure that may seem easy to some of you, but I am not a huge fan of planks.

Why a restart? In case you missed it, I put a hold on my February plank challenge. I was having stomach spasms and cramps, likely due to anxiety, and they were causing a lot of pain. The plank challenge just was not serving me or my body and was actually hurting me.

Why do it anyways? One of my 2020 goals was to be able to hold a 2 minute plank average. Meaning that my average, any day plank time would be 2 minutes. I was struggling to add time, so in an effort to help along my progress, I decided to challenge myself to a 1 minute plank each day for 4 weeks.

How will I track it? I started writing out "Plank Done" on my calendar last time and it actually worked really well, so I'll be doing that again this time around.

Wish me luck... this one will be a doozy!
