Breathing Exercise Tutorials: Opposite Nostril Breathing
Breathing exercises are a great way to help center yourself. They can relieve anxiety from anywhere and usaully don't require any tools.
One of my favorite breathing techniques is opposite nostril breathing. All you need is yourself and a free hand. This is a great techniuqe to do before an exam or interview, on a flight, at home, really any time anxiety comes up in your life.
How to do Opposite Nostril Breathing:
Place your pointer finger on your left nostril.
Breathe in through your right nostril.
Remove your pointer finger from your left nostril and place your thumb on your right nostril.
Breathe out through your left nostril.
Breathe in through your left nostril.
Remove your thumb and place your pointer finger back on your left nostril.
Breathe out through your right nostril.
Continue the circuit.
