October Challenge: Writing
I have been SLACKING... on my writing, that is.

One of my 2020 goals was to finish my first book and I am about 2/3rd's complete with the first draft. Granted, I am only slightly behind "tracking" to be done by the end of 2020, but still, if I am being honest with myself, I could have been done by now and already in the revising stage.
For the month of October, I am going to kick it up a notch with my writing and commit to 2 hours of writing per week. I've been averaging closer to 30 minutes, so hopefully this helps amp up my overall progress.

I can do 20 minute intervals, 30 minute intervals, an hour at a time or even all at once if I'm feeling inspired. I'll track it just like I would hours for work and check in halfway through the month to see how it's going.
If I am being honest with myself, I think I've been slacking because my fears of the book not being good are at times stronger than my will to just go for it. I have to remember that I got to a point where I was more worried about reflecting back at my life when I'm older and regretting never trying. It's better to try and adjust than to never try and wonder what if...
