The Maclean Wedding: Debrief

It's official! I am a married woman.

Not going to lie, it still doesn't feel totally real, but I couldn't be happier to be married to my best friend. The last 10 days have been amazing and I cannot wait to see what comes next for us.

Because I posted along the wedding planning journey, I wanted to also create a recap post about the wedding. I'll be sharing all about the vendors, the food, what I loved, what I wish I'd done differently and more!

First off, our wedding was hands down the best day ever. Even though there might be a few things I would have done differently, those things do not for a second take away for how amazing the day was. It was beautiful and filled with joy and love. If anything, I just would have started the day earlier because the adrenaline kept me from getting tired and I wish I could have squeezed even more time in for the fun parts.

Our Vendors

I'm so grateful for all of our vendors. They honestly all did a terrific job and made the day easier and more fun for Ian and me. You can find the full list here.

The Food

24 Carrots catering did an incredible job with the food. By the time we sat down for dinner, I'd had enough appetizers I barely ate half of my food. I wish I could get all of the recipes because they were so great and I'd love to try my hand at making some of the options we went with. Find the full menu here.

My Favorite Things

The list of things that weren't my favorite would likely be shorter, but I'll try to keep it to a few highlights. The venue and florals were beautiful. Before the wedding, I sent a moldboard to my coordinator/florist and she exceeded my expectations with florals and decor that perfectly encompassed what I wanted and my personality. If you're in the OC area, I cannot recommend Ruffle Effect enough. Full URL in the link under Vendors above.
